Dear friends, welcome to Day 20.
Unfortunately this will be the last in our Advent series as I have fallen ill with Covid and am unable to continue with filming the videos and artwork.
Today's prompt is the word 'Emerging'.
I'm posing the question 'what do you see emerging for you?'.
We have been on a beautiful journey together this advent with the different prompts and engaging with our creativity, and as we approach the end of this season and the end of the year, do you sense something new emerging?
I definitely feel the new emerging of my creative voice, with giving myself permission to go with an idea and not overthinking my responses to the prompts. I sense a new freedom emerging, and more of an acceptance of myself and of what I have to offer.
I'm so thankful for all your kind words of encouragement and feedback, as well as stories of how these prompts have helped you in some way. This means the world to me.
Thankyou for joining me on this journey. It has been an honour and a joy.
Here is today's video (just the artwork):
Materials I used:
Windsor and Newton white drawing ink & ink dip pen
Neocolor water soluble pastels
White gel pen.
'See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.'
See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare;
before they spring into being I announce them to you.'
With very much love and wishing you the most wonderful Christmas
and every blessing in the year ahead.
