Hello and welcome to Day 8 of our Advent Journaling Challenge!
Today's prompt is to draw a self portrait using the continuous line method we experimented with yesterday, where you draw in one one continuous line without lifting your pen/pencil from the paper. So either look in the mirror or use a photo of yourself as a reference.
(This could have hilarious outcomes, have fun and a good laugh!I know I did!)
But more seriously, the aim is to let go of perfectionism, and free ourselves from the expectations to get things 'right'. This exercise means that you won't get a perfect image of yourself, or even a resemblance, but it's just a fun thing to do and explore a different way of drawing.
Here is the video:
Psalm 139: 13 - 14
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Sending you lots of love.
